Main responsibilities include sport and leisure product and activity development, and strategic management and responsibility for:

  • Leisure centres and swimming pools
  • Community services – including outdoor fields and pitches and community centres
  • highlife card management and development
  • Sports development and partnership working with sportscotland
  • Physical activity and wellness programmes
  • Safeguarding and Protection – representing HLH on Highland Child Protection Committee (HCPC) and Highland Violence Against Women Partnership (HVAWP)
  • Investment and programme management
