‘Social media’ is the term commonly given to websites and mobile applications which allow users to interact with each other in some way – by sharing information, opinions, knowledge and interests. As the name implies, social media involves the building of communities or networks, encouraging participation and engagement.
Social media channels include (but are not limited to) Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, blogs, review sites, forums, online communities, location-based networks like Foursquare and any similar online platforms or mobile applications. This list is non-exhaustive.
Our social media accounts are managed by High Life Highland staff and are generally monitored during normal office hours. They are not routinely monitored 24/7.
While we will always do our best to help customers with enquiries via social media, our staff who monitor accounts will often be required to field questions to colleagues internally. To report an issue or to obtain help with one of our services, please visit the relevant section or facility page on our website where you will find appropriate contact information there.
